A '#Snowpocalypse' Heads to the DC Area
Well, eff you Punxsutawney Phil! Who knew that a few days after your 'prediction', the DC area would be rocked with what most forecasters are calling 'an HISTORIC snow event'. On Twitter, folks are capturing the sights, sounds, and panicky grocery store visits using the hashtag #snowpocalypse, as well as #snomgasm and #Snowmageddon. As for me, I'm pretty damn excited to be hunkered in the house provided nothing, I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happens to the electricity.
Speaking of electricity, there was MUCH of that in the air during my visit to the local grocery store today. All due to the fact that a lady passed out in the line. Folks, have you ever seen a potato chip display crumble under the weight of a person falling head first to the ground? Yea, not a good sight. I wanted SO badly to take pictures, but my 'TMZ' tactics were on hiatus. At any rate, I did capture this sorry pic of random folks looking dazed...
:sigh: My only regret about today was wearing heels to the store. :sigh: Excuse me, while I head off to find the Epsom salt.
